6. Recognizes that food security is a global priority and crucial for LDCs, appreciates the international and national initiatives in tackling this challenge and, in this regard, requests the international community to continue to support the LDCs' efforts in ensuring food security;
6 - يسلّم بأن الأمن الغذائي أولوية شاملة وحاسمة لأقل البلدان نمواً، ويعرب عن تقديره للمبادرات الدولية والوطنية في مواجهة هذا التحدي، ويطلب بهذا الخصوص إلى المجتمع الدولي مواصلة دعم جهود أقل البلدان نمواً في ضمان الأمن الغذائي؛

40. With regard to trade policy, UNCTAD supported LDCs' efforts to formulate and implement a comprehensive trade policy framework and strategies to better cope with the economic challenges of the post-crisis period.
40- وفيما يتعلق بالسياسات التجارية، دعم الأونكتاد جهود أقل البلدان نمواً الرامية إلى صياغة وتنفيذ إطار شامل للسياسة التجارية واستراتيجيات لمواجهة التحديات الاقتصادية لفترة ما بعد الأزمة مواجهة أفضل.

UNCTAD technical cooperation and capacity-building activities in trade, investment, technology and logistics are important in supporting the development efforts of LDCs.
