12. Takes note of the report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights on the situation of human rights in Guinea in 2013;

8. Takes note, in that regard, of the report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights on the situation of human rights in Guinea;

The present report is submitted pursuant to Human Rights Council resolution 13/21 inviting the High Commissioner for Human Rights to submit a report on the situation of human rights in Guinea to the sixteenth session of the Council.
يُقدَّم هذا التقرير عملاً بقرار مجلس حقوق الإنسان 13/21 الذي دعا فيه المفوضةَ السامية لحقوق الإنسان إلى أن تقدم إليه تقريراً عن حالة حقوق الإنسان في غينيا في دورته السادسة عشرة.

13. Takes note of the report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights on the situation of human rights in Guinea;

19. the situation of human rights in Guinea presents a number of challenges. These include: impunity, in particular of the security forces; sexual and gender-based violence and harmful traditional practices, e.g. female genital mutilations; and widespread corruption, which has impeded the full realization of economic, social and cultural rights.
19- هناك عدد من التحديات التي تواجه حالة حقوق الإنسان في غينيا وهي تشمل: الإفلات من العقاب، ولا سيما بالنسبة لقوات الأمن؛ والعنف القائم على أساس نوع الجنس، والممارسات التقليدية الضارة من قبيل تشويه الأعضاء التناسلية للإناث؛ وانتشار الفساد، الشيء الذي أعاق الإعمال التام للحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية.

In the present report, submitted pursuant to Human Rights Council resolution 23/23 of 14 June 2013, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights describes the human rights situation in Guinea in 2013 and makes recommendations to address diverse human rights problems.
تستعرض مفوضة الأمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان في هذا التقرير المقدم عملاً بقرار مجلس حقوق الإنسان 23/23 المؤرخ 14حزيران/يونيه 2013، حالة حقوق الإنسان في غينيا في عام 2013، وتقدم توصيات ترمي إلى التصدي لمختلف المشاكل ذات الصلة.

At the 41st meeting, on 24 March 2010, the President made a statement on the outcome of the meetings, stating that the Human Rights Council had, in closed meetings, examined the human rights situation in Guinea under the complaint procedure established pursuant to Council resolution 5/1, and had decided to discontinue considering the situation in Guinea.
233- وفي الجلسة 41 المعقودة في 24 آذار/مارس 2010، أدلى الرئيس ببيان بشأن نتيجة الجلستين، ذكر فيه أن مجلس حقوق الإنسان بحث حالة حقوق الإنسان في غينيا بموجب إجراء الشكاوى المكرّس وفقاً لقرار المجلس 5/1، وقرر وقف النظر في هذا الموضوع.

2. This report, submitted in accordance with Human Rights Council resolution 13/21 of 15 April 2010 on the strengthening of technical cooperation and advisory services in Guinea, covers the human rights situation in Guinea and the activities of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Guinea from April to December 2010.
2- ويتناول هذا التقرير، الذي يُقدَّم وفقاً لقرار مجلس حقوق الإنسان 13/21 المؤرخ 15 نيسان/أبريل 2010 والمتعلق بتعزيز التعاون التقني والخدمات الاستشارية في غينيا، حالة حقوق الإنسان في غينيا وأنشطة المفوضية السامية لحقوق الإنسان في هذا البلد في الفترة من نيسان/أبريل إلى كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2010.

56. Japan was concerned about the deterioration of the human rights situation in Guinea following the coup last September, while it welcomed developments that had occurred since the Ouagadougou Agreement of 15 January 2010.
