648. The Ministers reaffirmed the validity and relevance of the Movement's principled positions concerning all Universally Recognized Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms for all, including the right to development, as follows:

Uzbekistan has adopted legislative, administrative and other measures necessary for providing effective guarantees of the rights and freedoms of individuals, which are consistent with the Declaration on the Right and Responsibility of Individuals, Groups and Organs of Society to Promote and Protect Universally Recognized Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (United Nations Declaration on Human Rights Defenders).
