وإذ ننتقل إلى سلامة وأمن الملاحة البحرية، تعرب مصر عن قلقها بشأن التهديد الذي يمثله استمرار الآثار السلبية لحوادث القرصنة والسطو المسلح على السفن قبالة سواحل الصومال على حياة البحارة وسلامة النقل البحري الدولي، وما تسببه تلك الأعمال من أضرار اقتصادية بالغة بسبب ارتفاع تكاليف النقل، بما في ذلك تكاليف التأمين.
