Pakistan also fully supported the need to provide justice for victims of crimes against humanity, genocide and other serious violations of international humanitarian law and believed that where such crimes were committed, especially in situations of foreign occupation or alien domination and where State terrorism was utilized to suppress legitimate struggles of people for freedom, the perpetrators should be punished.
