بناء على تعليمات من حكومتي وإلحاقا برسالتي المؤرخة ١٨ أيار/ مايو ١٩٩٩، أتشرف بأن أوجه عنايتكم إلى انتهاكات جديدة لمنطقة نيقوسيا للمعلومات عن الطيران وللمجال الجوي الوطني لجمهورية قبرص، قامت بها طائرات عسكرية تابعة للقوات الجوية التركية وسجلت في أيام ٢٠ و ٢٤ و ٢٥ و ٢٦ و ٢٧ و ٢٨ أيار/ مايو ١٩٩٩.

On 25 May 1999, five (5) military aircraft of the Turkish Air Force (four F-16 and one of unidentified type) entered the Nicosia FIR, violating international air traffic regulations.
وفي ٢٥ أيار/ مايو، اقتحمت خمس )٥( طائرات عسكرية تابعة للقوات الجوية التركية )أربع من طراز F-16 وواحدة مجهولة الطراز( منطقة نيقوسيا للمعلومات عن الطيران، منتهكة بذلك أنظمة الحركة الجوية الدولية.
