To maintain the child until, in the case of a girl, she marries or is working and, in the case of a boy, until he reaches the point at which his peers earn a living, unless he is a student or unable to earn a living on physical or mental grounds. In this case, maintenance shall continue at least until he obtains the preparatory certificate or reaches the age at which he is eligible to obtain it or until he is able to earn a living.
أولاً: الإنفاق على الصغير إلى أن تتزوج الأنثى أو تعمل وإلى أن يصل الغلام الحد الذي يكسب فيه أمثاله ما لم يكن طالب علم أو عاجزاً عن الكسب لعلة في جسمه أو عاهة في عقله ففي هذه الحالة يستمر الإنفاق عليه لحين حصول طالب العلم الشهادة الإعدادية كحد أدنى أو بلوغه السن التي تؤهله للحصول عليها وحتى يصبح العاجز قادرا على الكسب.
