8. Encourages the Government of Cambodia to continue to work with non-governmental organizations in efforts to strengthen and uphold human rights in Cambodia, in recognition of the vital and valuable role played by non-governmental organizations in the development of civil society in Cambodia;

22. Expresses grave concern about the devastating consequences and destabilizing effects of the use of anti-personnel landmines on Cambodian society, encourages the Government of Cambodia to continue its support and efforts for the removal of these mines, and urges the Government of Cambodia to give priority to banning all anti-personnel landmines;
٢٢ - تعرب عن القلق البالغ إزاء العواقب المدمرة واﻵثار المزعزعة للاستقرار الناجمة عن استخدام اﻷلغام البرية المضادة لﻷفراد على المجتمع الكمبودي، وتشجع حكومة كمبوديا على مواصلة دعمها وجهودها ﻹزالة هذه اﻷلغام، وتحث حكومة كمبوديا على إعطاء اﻷولوية لفرض حظر على جميع اﻷلغام البرية المضادة لﻷفراد؛

18. Expresses grave concern at the devastating consequences of the use of anti—personnel landmines on Cambodian society and encourages the Government of Cambodia to continue its efforts for the removal of these mines and to give priority to adopting the draft law on banning all anti—personnel landmines;
٨١- تعرب عن القلق البالغ إزاء العواقب المدمرة المترتبة على استخدام اﻷلغام البرية المضادة لﻷفراد على المجتمع الكمبودي، وتشجع حكومة كمبوديا على مواصلة جهودها ﻹزالة هذه اﻷلغام، وعلى إعطاء اﻷولوية لاعتماد مشروع القانون المتعلق بفرض حظر على جميع اﻷلغام البرية المضادة لﻷفراد؛

3. Encourages the Government of Cambodia to continue to cooperate with the office and other United Nations agencies in their joint efforts to promote human rights;
