The Permanent Mission of Afghanistan to the United Nations presents its compliments to the Chair of the Committee and has the honour to submit the second national report of Afghanistan concerning implementation of resolution 1540 (2004).

The Counter-Terrorism Committee has considered the report carefully with the assistance of its experts and has written to the Permanent Representative of Afghanistan to the United Nations to set out its preliminary comments.
وقد نظرت لجنة مكافحة الإرهاب في التقرير بعناية مستعينة بخبرائها، وكتبت إلى الممثل الدائم لأفغانستان لدى الأمم المتحدة مبينة تعليقاتها الأولية.

Welcoming also the successful conclusion of the Fifth Biennial Meeting of States to Consider the Implementation of the Programme of Action to Prevent, Combat and Eradicate the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons in All Its Aspects, chaired by the Permanent Representative of Afghanistan to the United Nations and held in New York from 16 to 20 June 2014,

The Permanent Mission of Afghanistan to the United Nations presents its compliments to the Secretary-General and has the honour to forward herewith revised text of the letter from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Zalmai Rassoul, addressed to Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations, regarding the International Security Assistance Force mandate in Afghanistan (see annex).

The Permanent Mission of Afghanistan to the United Nations presents its compliments to the Chairman of the Counter-Terrorism Committee and, upon instructions from the Interim Administration of Afghanistan, would like to communicate the following in reference to the Committee's request of Member States to submit a country report on initiatives taken for the implementation of Security Council resolution 1373 (2001).
تهدي البعثة الدائمة لأفغانستان لدى الأمم المتحدة تحياتها إلى رئيس لجنة مكافحة الإرهاب، وتود تنفيذا لتوجيهات صادرة عن الحكومة المؤقتة لأفغانستان، أن تبلغ ما يلي وفقا للطلب الموجه من اللجنة إلى الدول الأعضاء بتقديم تقرير قطري عن المبادرات المتخذة لتنفيذ قرار مجلس الأمن 1373 (2001).
