WVC was involved in reviewing progress against the World fit for children/UNGASS goals at the national level, through the Canadian Coalition for the Rights of Children.

261. The Committee encourages the State party to develop a comprehensive national plan of action for the implementation of the Convention, incorporating the objectives and goals of the outcome document entitled " A World fit for children " of the General Assembly special session on children.
