15. In its resolution 50/8 of 1 November 1995, the General Assembly decided that the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes of the World Food Programme (WFP) should be reconstituted as the Executive Board of WFP, and also decided to approve the revised General Regulations of WFP.
١٥ - قررت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها ٥٠/٨ المؤرخ ١ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٥ أن يعاد تشكيل لجنة سياسات وبرامج المعونة الغذائية التابعة لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي لتصبح المجلس التنفيذي للبرنامج. وقررت أيضا اعتماد اللائحة الداخلية المنقحة لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي.

By its decision 1995/227 of 6 June 1995, the Economic and Social Council recommended to the General Assembly the adoption of a draft resolution entitled " Revision of the General Regulations of the World Food Programme and reconstitution of the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes as the Executive Board of the World Food Programme " (see A/C.2/50/L.2).

By its decision 1995/227 of 6 June 1995, the Economic and Social Council recommended to the General Assembly the adoption of a draft resolution entitled " Revision of the general regulations of the World Food Programme and reconstitution of the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes as the Executive Board of the World Food Programme " .
٢ - وأوصى المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، بموجب مقرره ١٩٩٥/٢٢٧ المؤرخ ٦ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٥، بأن تعتمد الجمعية العامة مشروع قرار معنون " تنقيح اللائحة العامة لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي وإعادة تشكيل لجنة سياسات وبرامج المعونة الغذائية لتصبح المجلس التنفيذي لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي " .

In that resolution, the FAO Conference decided, subject to the concurrence of the General Assembly of the United Nations, that the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes would be reconstituted as the Executive Board of WFP with 36 members, and decided to approve the revised general regulations of WFP contained in the appendix of that resolution.

In paragraph 5 of this document, the Second Committee recommends to the General Assembly the adoption of a draft resolution entitled “Revision of the General Regulations of the World Food Programme and reconstitution of the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes as the Executive Board of the World Food Programme”.

The General Assembly adopted the draft resolution recommended by the Second Committee in paragraph 5 of Part I of its report (document A/50/615), entitled " Revision of the General Regulations of the World Food Programme and reconstitution of the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes as the Executive Board of the World Food Programme " (resolution 50/8).
واعتمدت الجمعية العامة مشروع القرار الذي أوصت به اللجنة الثانية في الفقرة ٥ من الجزء اﻷول من تقريرها )الوثيقة A/50/615(، المعنون " تنقيح اللائحة العامة لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي وإعادة تشكيل لجنة سياسات وبرامج المعونة الغذائية لتصبح المجلس التنفيذي لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي " )القرار ٠٥/٨(.

The Assembly has before it a draft resolution which is contained in paragraph 5 of Part I of the report of the Second Committee (A/50/615). The draft resolution is entitled “Revision of the General Regulations of the World Food Programme and reconstitution of the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes as the Executive Board of the World Food Programme”.

At its resumed organizational session for 1995, the Council adopted decision 1995/227 of 6 June 1995, by which it decided to recommend to the General Assembly at its fiftieth session the adoption of a draft resolution entitled " Revision of the General Regulations of the World Food Programme and reconstitution of the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes as the Executive Board of the World Food Programme " .
٢٣٣ - واعتمد المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، في دورته التنظيمية المستأنفة لعام ١٩٩٥، المقرر ٥٩٩١/٧٢٢ المؤرخ ٦ حزيران/يونيه ٥٩٩١، الذي قرر فيه أن يوصي الجمعية العامة في دورتها الخمسين باعتماد مشروع قرار بعنوان " تنقيح اﻷنظمة العامة لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي وإعادة تشكيل لجنة سياسات وبرامج المعونة الغذائية لتصبح المجلس التنفيذي لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي " .
