83. In 2000, the General Assembly had requested the Secretariat to prepare a methodology for reimbursement of troop costs and a questionnaire to be submitted to troop-contributing countries on the basis of certain elements and guidelines.

32. The Advisory Committee noted that in one mission the provision for military contingents included an amount for troop cost reimbursement for expenditures which were not obligated in the period ending 30 June 2001.
