٥٠ - وقد التزمت الوحدة بتزويد الجمعية العامة وجميع اﻷجهزة التشريعية للمنظمات المشاركة فيها بتحليل أكثر وضوحا وشمولا فضلا عن كونه تحليلا متسقا ومستكملا لمتابعة تنفيذ توصيات الوحدة المعتمدة.

5. The Unit should submit its reports to the executive heads of its participating organizations sufficiently in advance of the meetings of legislative organs to be thoroughly and effectively utilized at the meetings.
٥ - وينبغي للوحدة أن تقدم تقاريرها إلى الرؤساء التنفيذيين للمنظمات المشاركة فيها قبل وقت كاف من اجتماعات اﻷجهزة التشريعية للاستفادة منها بصورة تامة وفعالة خلال الاجتماعات.

Therefore, the Unit will highly appreciate comments from the legislative organs of its participating organizations, their executive heads and experts and oversight bodies of the United Nations system concerned with budgetary control, investigation, coordination and evaluation, with a view to continuously updating and improving it.

G. The new Joint Inspection Unit strategic framework: a results-based management approach 85. In 2008, the Unit submitted for consideration of the legislative bodies of its participating organizations a new results-based management strategic framework defining its long-term and medium-term objectives in annex III of its annual report.
85 - عرضت الوحدة، في عام 2008، على الهيئات التشريعية للمنظمات المشاركة فيها إطارا استراتيجيا جديدا للإدارة القائمة على النتائج لكي تنظر فيه، يحدد أهداف اللجنة على الأمدين الطويل والمتوسط، وذلك في المرفق الثالث لتقريرها السنوي.

In view of the importance of follow-up to Joint Inspection Unit reports and recommendations, the Unit, in annex I of its annual report for 1996-1997,2 submitted an official proposal entitled " Towards a more effective system of follow-up on reports of the Joint Inspection Unit " for consideration and action by the legislative organs of its participating organizations.
