5. Also requests the Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Africa to report on the implementation of the present resolution at the twenty-first meeting of the Conference of Ministers of the Commission.
٥ - يطلب أيضا الى اﻷمين التنفيذي للجنة الاقتصادية لافريقيا أن يقدم تقريرا عن تنفيذ هذا القرار الى الاجتماع الحادي والعشرين لمؤتمر الوزراء التابع للجنة.

5. Also requests the Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Africa to report on the implementation of the present resolution at the twenty-first meeting of the Conference of Ministers of the Commission.

3. At the thirty-first session of the Commission/twenty-second meeting of the Conference of Ministers responsible for economic and social development and planning, held in Addis Ababa from 6 to 8 May 1996, the Conference of Ministers adopted the following draft resolution for action by the Council:
٣ - في الدورة الحادية والثلاثين للجنة والاجتماع الثاني والعشرين لمؤتمر الوزراء اﻷفريقيين المسؤولين عن التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والتخطيط، المعقودين في أديس أبابا في الفترة من ٦ إلى ٨ أيار/مايو ١٩٩٦، وافق المؤتمر الوزاري على مشروع القرار التالي لكي يبت المجلس فيه:

It also requested the Executive Secretary of the Commission to make recommendations to the regular session of the Conference of Ministers responsible for Economic and Social Development and Planning in 1998 for a final decision on the status of the Conference of African Ministers responsible for sustainable development and environment vis-à-vis the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment.
كما طلب إلى اﻷمين التنفيذي للجنة أن يقدم توصيات إلى الدورة العادية لمؤتمر الوزراء المسؤولين عن التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والتخطيط في عام ١٩٩٨ لاتخاذ قرار نهائي بشأن مركز مؤتمر الوزراء الافريقيين المسؤولين عن التنمية المستدامة والبيئة مقابل مؤتمر الوزراء الافريقيين المعني بالبيئة.

2. In the ECA region, within the context of the programme of the Joint Secretariat of the African Ministers Conference on the Environment (AMCEN), priority was given to support for capacity-building in the area of information and data collection.
