8. Activities to disseminate the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the third periodic report of Lebanon and the previous concluding observations of the Committee
8- الجهود التي بذلت لنشر الاتفاقية الدولية لحقوق الطفل وتقرير لبنان الدوري الثالث والملاحظات الختامية السابقة للجنة:

357. While noting initial efforts to disseminate the Convention and its Optional Protocols among non-governmental organizations and the media, the Committee considers that education for children and the public at large and training activities for professional groups on children's rights need ongoing attention.
357- فيما تحيط اللجنة علماً بالجهود الأولية التي بذلتها الدولة الطرف لنشر الاتفاقية وبروتوكوليها الاختياريين بين المنظمات غير الحكومية ووسائل الإعلام، فإنها ترى أن تثقيف الأطفال والجمهور بشكل عام وأنشطة التدريب المقدمة للمجموعات المهنية المعنية بشأن حقوق الطفل تتطلب اهتماماً مستمراً.

405. The Committee recommends that the State party strengthen its efforts to disseminate the Convention both to children and to the broader public, including appropriate material specifically for children translated in the different languages spoken in Lebanon, including those spoken by migrant and refugee children.
405- توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بأن تعزِّز جهودها لنشر الاتفاقية وتعميمها سواء على الأطفال أو على الجمهور عموماً، بما في ذلك المواد المناسبة المعدّة للأطفال تحديداً وترجمتها إلى مختلف اللغات المستخدمة في لبنان، بما في ذلك لغات أطفال المهاجرين واللاجئين.

Steps had been taken to publicize the Convention and the high level of interest shown by women's non-governmental organizations in the reporting process suggested a high level of awareness of the provisions of the Convention.
وقد اتخذت خطوات لنشر الاتفاقية وتشير الدرجة العالية من الاهتمام الذي أبدته المنظمات غير الحكومية النسائية بعملية تقديم التقرير إلى المستوى العالي من الوعي بأحكام الاتفاقية.
