To facilitate transparency on this matter, the Eighth Meeting of the States Parties adopted amendments to the Article 7 reporting format.

A revised version of the common reporting format, taking into account the deliberations of the working group, is contained in FCCC/SB/l999/1/Add.1.

وقد شمل ذلك التحسين المتواصل للبرنامج الحاسوبي لنموذج الإبلاغ الموحد، والدعم المستمر لاستخدام الأطراف لهذا البرنامج الحاسوبي، ونشر أدوات ووثائق استعراض قوائم الجرد التي تتضمن معلومات عن اتجاهات انبعاثات غازات الدفيئة في الوقت المطلوب.

The inclusion in the revised UNFCCC Annex I reporting guidelines (including new RFTs) of negotiated outcomes from other processes under the Convention.

By the same decision, the COP invited Parties to provide proposals for the improvement of the draft revised uniform reporting format contained in FCCC/SB/1999/5/Add.1, by 31 March 2000.
23- وفي نفس المقرر، طلب مؤتمر الأطراف إلى الأطراف تقديم مقترحات لتحسين المشروع المنقح لنموذج الإبلاغ الموحد الوارد في الوثيقة FCCC/SB/1999/5/Add.1 وذلك في موعد أقصاه 31 آذار/مارس 2000.

Reporting on these projects under Article 7, paragraph 2, shall be in accordance with the uniform reporting format, which shall be an integral part of the guidelines developed under Article 7, paragraph 424.

The Conference, by its decision 13/CP.5, had requested the secretariat to prepare a further draft revision of the uniform reporting format and a set of guidelines for its use.

Draft revised review and reporting guidelines, including tables of the common reporting format (CRF), have been prepared on the basis of the outcome of the expert meeting and experience in the use of both guidelines.

Parties noted that that such workshops could cover matters such as the consideration of the new reporting format tables and the final revised UNFCCC Annex I reporting guidelines.

1. At present, data on imports and exports of controlled substances are reported by the parties on the basis of Article 7 of the Montreal Protocol and according to the reporting format as last revised by decision XVII/16.

Based on the six submissions received, the secretariat has prepared a further draft revision of the uniform reporting format and draft guidance for its use (FCCC/SB/2000/6/Add.1).

Ms. Wörgötter (Austria), Coordinator on victim assistance, presenting the amended national reporting template contained in the annex to the report, said that the meeting of experts had concluded that reporting on victim assistance and cooperation needs, which was of particular interest to affected States, was fragmented and limited in scope.
