Between 2009 and 2012, the National Electronic Media Association of Uzbekistan conducted more than 80 initiatives and training seminars directed at raising people's awareness of their rights and obligations with regard to access to information and improving the qualifications of journalists in the Electronic Media.
121- وفي الفترة ما بين عامي 2009 و2012، نفذََت الرابطة الوطنية لوسائط الإعلام الإلكترونية في أوزبكستان أكثر من 80 مبادرة وحلقة دراسية تدريبية بغرض توعية الناس بحقوقهم وواجباتهم فيما يتعلق بالحصول على المعلومة وتحسين مؤهلات الصحفيين العاملين في وسائط الإعلام الإلكترونية.

Associations and foundations to support the media have been created. The Journalists' Union, Writers' Union, National Association of Electronic Media, National Foundation for the Support and Development of Independent Print Media and news agencies are active in Uzbekistan.
وتنشأ جمعيات ومؤسسات لدعم وسائط الإعلام، منها على وجه الخصوص " اتحاد الصحفيين " و " اتحاد الكتاب " و " الرابطة الوطنية لوسائط الإعلام الإلكترونية " و " المؤسسة غير الحكومية لدعم وسائط الإعلام الإلكترونية وتطويرها " و " المؤسسة غير الحكومية لدعم الصحافة المكتوبة ووكالات الأنباء المستقلة " .
