4. To respond to that challenge, the General Assembly decided to hold the First United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries in Paris in 1981. To continue focus on the need for the special measures for those countries, the Assembly decided to convene the Second United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries.
4 - وللتصدي لهذا التحدي، قررت الجمعية العامة أن تعقد في باريس في عام 1981 مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة الأول المعني بأقل البلدان نموا، لمواصلة التركيز على الحاجة لاتخاذ تدابير خاصة لصالح هذه البلدان، وقررت الجمعية العامة أن تعقد مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة الثاني المعني بأقل البلدان نموا.

To implement resolution I/4, on national standardization, of the First United Nations Conference on the Standardization of Geographical Names, the Minister of Home Affairs of Indonesia, as Chair of the national team for the standardization of topographical names, issued regulation No. 39 of 2008 to provide guidance on the standardization of geographical names.

To implement resolution I/4 of the First United Nations Conference on the Standardization of Geographical Names, on national standardization, the national team for the standardization of geographical names compiled a standardization plan comprising the following phases:
تنفيذاً للقرار أولا/4 الذي اتخذه مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة الأول المعني بتوحيد الأسماء الجغرافية، بشأن التوحيد الوطني، قام الفريق الوطني المعني بتوحيد الأسماء الجغرافية بإعداد خطة توحيد تتضمن المراحل التالية:

143. It was noted that the priorities and the focus of the programme had changed since the First United Nations Conference on the Peaceful Uses and Exploration of Outer Space in 1968, when an arms race in outer space had been an overriding concern.

Mr. Abe (Under-Secretary-General for Disarmament Affairs), reading out the message, said that it would be difficult to overstate the importance of implementing the Programme of Action adopted in 2001 at the First United Nations Conference on the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons in All Its Aspects, because of the mass destruction those armaments caused.
