The same delegation emphasized that there was an urgent need in many developing countries for long-term partnerships between public and private organizations geared towards upgrading the secondary sector to develop high-quality traditional fishery products for national and regional consumption.
وأكد ذلك الوفد على وجود حاجة ملحة في العديد من البلدان النامية إلى إقامة شراكات طويلة الأجل بين منظمات القطاعين العام والخاص تُوجه نحو رفع مستوى القطاع الثانوي من أجل تطوير منتجات رفيعة المستوى في مجال مصائد الأسماك التقليدية للاستهلاك الوطني والإقليمي.

UNIDO is currently implementing a project with the Centre for Development Cooperation in Fisheries of the Norwegian Institute of Marine Research to assist the Government of Sudan in scaling up the development of its fishery industry up to sustainable levels.
