The report seeks to provide a final account of the activities of the United Nations Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission (UNMOVIC) since my last report to the Security Council, dated 27 September 2007 (S/2007/568) and the work accomplished to appropriately dispose of UNMOVIC archives and other property.

188 - ويوفر تقرير الأمين العام المقدم إلى مجلس الأمن والمؤرخ 29 تموز/يوليه 2010 (S/2010/406) معلومات عن أهم التطورات السياسية وما استجدّ بشأن الأنشطة التي تضطلع بها الأمم المتحدة في العراق.

Suffice it to recall your report to the Security Council dated 28 May 2004, which called on all States to " cooperate both bilaterally and in international bodies to eliminate the unnecessary restrictions and barriers that have the effect of isolating the Turkish Cypriots and impeding their development " (para. 93).

86. Additional information on the Kosovo consolidated budget for 2000 was provided in paragraphs 110 to 112 of the report of the Secretary-General to the Security Council dated 18 September 2000 (S/2000/878) and the pertinent financial details in annex III to the present report.

9. In the report of the Secretary-General to the Security Council dated 29 November 2001 (S/2001/1132 and Corr.1, para. 36), it was stated that UNMIBH was expected to complete its core mandate by December 2002.

Further to the statement issued by the President of the Security Council dated 28 October 2008 (S/PRST/2009/27), which condemned the violence and human rights violations in Guinea and reiterated the need to fight impunity and bring the perpetrators to justice, it is critical that the report's recommendations be implemented in a prompt manner.
وبالإضافة إلى البيان الصادر عن رئيس مجلس الأمن والمؤرخ 28 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2008 (S/2008/27)، الذي أدان أعمال العنف وانتهاكات حقوق الإنسان التي ارتكبت في غينيا، وكرر التأكيد على ضرورة مكافحة الإفلات من العقاب وتقديم المرتكبين إلى العدالة، فإنه من الأهمية بمكان أن تنفذ توصيات التقرير دون إبطاء.

87. The report of the Secretary—General to the Security Council of 12 July 1999 (S/1999/779) on the structure of UNMIK provided for the appointment of a senior human rights adviser in the office of the Special Representative of the Secretary—General.

4. Since my report to the Security Council of 6 July 2004 (S/2004/536), the relationship between RSLAF and the Sierra Leone police has improved.

In his report to the Security Council of 16 August 1999, the Secretary-General stated that " a general review of the role of the United Nations in Somalia, including the possible relocation of some United Nations programmes and agencies, as well as the Political Office, to Somalia " could be considered.

(a) Human Rights Office. As indicated by the Secretary-General in his report to the Security Council of 25 June 2001 (S/2001/627, para. 53), UNAMSIL plans to carry out regular human rights monitoring visits to all areas where it is deployed and open up human rights offices in various regions of the country.

Since my last report to the Security Council, of 24 November 2008 (S/2008/692), four additional States have recognized Kosovo, bringing the total to 56.
ومنذ تقريري الأخير المقدم إلى مجلس الأمن والمؤرخ 24 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2008 (S/2008/692)، اعترفت أربع دول إضافية بكوسوفو، وبذا أصبح مجموع تلك الدول 56 دولة.

Second, Lebanon confirms its reservations on three locations on the blue line of withdrawal adopted by the United Nations as the withdrawal line. This reservation is included in the report submitted by the Secretary-General to the Security Council on 16 June 2000.
