5. The Controller presented the Report of the Board of Auditors to the General Assembly on the Accounts of the Voluntary Funds administered by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees for 2011 (A/AC.96/1111; see also A/67/5/Add.5).

In accordance with paragraph 6 of Governing Council decision 18/46 of 25 May 1995, the Executive Director has the honour to submit, for the information of the Governing Council at its twenty-sixth session, the report of the Board of Auditors to the General Assembly on the audit of the accounts of the Environment Fund for the biennium ended 31 December 2009.
عملاً بالفقرة 6 من مقرر مجلس الإدارة 18/46 بتاريخ 25 أيار/مايو 1995، يتشرف المدير التنفيذي بأن يقدم، لعلم مجلس الإدارة في دورته السادسة والعشرين، تقرير مجلس مراجعي الحسابات إلى الجمعية العامة عن مراجعة حسابات صندوق البيئة لفترة السنتين المنتهية في 31 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2009.

In relation to the Report of the Board of Auditors to the General Assembly on the Accounts of the Voluntary Funds Administered by UNHCR for the period ended December 1998 (A/AC.96/917), the Director drew attention to the principal recommendations of the Board as found in paragraph 12 of its Report.
41- وفي ما يخص تقرير مجلس مراجعي الحسابات إلى الجمعية العامة عن حسابات صناديق التبرعات التي تديرها المفوضية عن الفترة المنتهية في كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1998(A/AC.96/917) وجه المدير الانتباه إلى توصيات المجلس الرئيسية الواردة في الفقرة 12 من تقريره.

She then presented the Report of the Board of Auditors to the General Assembly on the Accounts of the Voluntary Funds Administered by UNHCR for the period ended December 2000 (A/AC.96/949), noting that, for the first time in UNHCR's history, the Board had given a qualified opinion on UNHCR's accounts.
25- ثم عرضت بعد ذلك تقرير مجلس مراجعي الحسابات إلى الجمعية العامة عن حسابات الصناديق الطوعية التي يديرها المفوض السامي للأمم المتحدة عن الفترة المنتهية في كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2000، الوثيقة (A/AC.96/949)، ولاحظت أنه للمرة الأولى في تاريخ المفوضية قدم المجلس رأياً متحفظاً في حسابات المفوضية.

In general, the prevailing situation was not satisfactory, although the practice of such organizations as the United Nations Children's Fund, which had submitted a report on the implementation of the recommendations of the Board of Auditors to the General Assembly through the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions, was relatively good.
