On 25 April, the Council unanimously adopted resolution 2100 (2013), by which it established the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), with MINUSMA assuming responsibility for the discharge of the mandated tasks of the United Nations Office in Mali as from the date of adoption of the resolution.

58. On 1 July, MINUSMA, which until that date had focused on the civilian tasks transferred from the United Nations Office in Mali on 25 April, assumed responsibility for military and police personnel deployed under AFISMA following the transfer of authority.

During its start-up phase, MINUSMA (and previously the United Nations Office in Mali) was provided with communications and information technology, supply, engineering and transport materials and equipment and movement control and aviation services on a cost-reimbursable basis.

2. By its resolution 2100 (2013) of 25 April 2013, the Security Council established MINUSMA, which is to subsume the United Nations Office in Mali and assume responsibility, from 25 April 2013, for the discharge of the tasks of the Office mandated under Security Council resolution 2085 (2012).

As described in the report of the Secretary-General, by its resolution 2100 (2013) of 25 April 2013, the Security Council established MINUSMA, which assumed responsibility for implementing the mandated tasks of the United Nations Office in Mali (UNOM) as of the date of the adoption of the resolution.
١١ - حسبما يرد بيانه في تقرير الأمين العام، فقد أنشأ مجلس الأمن البعثة المتكاملة بموجب قراره 2100 (2013) المؤرخ 25 نيسان/أبريل 2013، وأنها تولت، اعتبارا من تاريخ اتخاذ القرار، مسؤولية تنفيذ المهام الموكولة إلى مكتب الأمم المتحدة في مالي.

22. With the resumption of hostilities, and in support of the efforts of the United Nations Office in Mali (UNOM) and subsequently of MINUSMA, my Special Representative consulted with various stakeholders on the implementation of Security Council resolution 2085 (2012), as well as options for engaging with non-terrorist groups and other representatives of the northern populations to achieve a lasting solution to the crisis.
22 - ولدى استئناف أعمال القتال، أجرى ممثلي الخاص، دعما لجهود مكتب الأمم المتحدة في مالي ولاحقا بعثة الأمم المتحدة المتكاملة المتعددة الأبعاد لتحقيق الاستقرار في مالي، مشاورات مع مختلف الجهات المعنية بشأن تنفيذ قرار مجلس الأمن 2085 (2012)، وكذلك بشأن خيارات التعامل مع الجماعات غير الإرهابية ومع غيرها من ممثلي سكان المناطق الشمالية من أجل التوصل إلى حل دائم للأزمة.

91. The establishment of UNOM has brought additional capacities to United Nations efforts in Mali, especially in terms of support to the political and security processes, rule of law, mine action and human rights.
91 - وقد جلب إنشاء مكتب الأمم المتحدة في مالي قدرات إضافية لجهود الأمم المتحدة في مالي، لا سيما من حيث دعم العمليتين السياسية والأمنية، وسيادة القانون، والإجراءات المتعلقة بالألغام، وحقوق الإنسان.

Awareness sessions on explosive remnants of war and improvised explosive devices were organized for AFISMA and UNOM personnel.
ونظمت لفائدة بعثة الدعم الدولية وموظفي مكتب الأمم المتحدة في مالي دورات توعية بشأن مخلفات الحرب من المتفجرات والأجهزة المتفجرة اليدوية الصنع.
