The Central Organ considered the report of the OAU High-level Delegation on the dispute between Ethiopia and Eritrea and endorsed the proposal for a framework agreement submitted by the OAU High-level Delegation and affirmed that the proposal constitutes an appropriate framework for the resolution of the dispute between the two countries.
وقد نظر الجهاز المركزي في التقرير المقدم من وفد منظمة الوحدة اﻷفريقية الرفيع المستوى المعني بالنزاع بين إثيوبيا وإريتريا وأيﱠد الاقتراح المقدم من الوفد الرفيع المستوى بإبرام اتفاق إطاري وأكد أن الاقتراح يشكل إطارا ملائما لحل النزاع بين البلدين.

The heads of State and Government, after having considered the report of the High-level OAU Delegation on the dispute, welcomed the commendable efforts made by the delegation with a view to promoting a peaceful and comprehensive solution to the dispute.
وبعد أن نظر رؤساء الدول والحكومات في تقرير وفد منظمة الوحدة اﻷفريقية الرفيع المستوى بشأن هذا النزاع، أعربوا عن اغتباطهم للمساعي الحميدة التي بذلها هذا الوفد بغية التوصل إلى حل سلمي وشامل للنزاع.
