The Ministers also emphasized the importance of giving appropriate consideration to the prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases in the discussion on the post-2015 development agenda.
وشدَّد الوزراء أيضاً على أهمية إيلاء النظر الملائم للوقاية من الأمراض غير المُعدية ومكافحتها في المناقشات الجارية بشأن خطة التنمية لما بعد عام 2015.

12. Effective non-communicable disease prevention and control require the active and informed participation and leadership of individuals, families and communities, civil society organizations, the private sector where appropriate, employers, health-care providers and the international community.
12 - وتقتضي الوقاية من الأمراض غير المُعدية ومكافحتها بفعالية المشاركة والقيادة بنشاط واستنارة من جانب الأفراد والأسر والمجتمعات المحلية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني والقطاع الخاص، وحسب الاقتضاء أصحاب العمل ومقدمي خدمات الرعاية الصحية والمجتمع الدولي.

8. Evidence-based and cost-effective interventions exist to prevent and control non-communicable diseases at the global, regional, national and local levels.
8 - وتوجد تدخلات مسندة بالبيّنات وعالية المردود للوقاية من الأمراض غير المُعدية ومكافحتها على المستوى العالمي والإقليمي والوطني والمحلي.

In that regard, as all of us have emphasized, the prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases cannot be undertaken outside the multilateral framework and without setting up multisectoral partnerships.
وفي هذا الصدد، كما أكّدنا جميعاً، لا يمكن مباشرة الوقاية من الأمراض غير المُعدية ومكافحتها خارج الإطار المتعدد الأطراف، وبدون إقامة شراكات متعددة القطاعات.

I would also like to thank the Secretary-General for his strong support for the success of this High-level Meeting on the Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases.
كما أودّ أن أشكر الأمين العام على دعمه القوي لنجاح هذا الاجتماع الرفيع المستوى بشأن الوقاية من الأمراض غير المُعدية ومكافحتها.

We will further remain committed to engaging with legislators and sharing good practices with a view to building political momentum and helping parliaments create enabling legal environments for the prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases.

We note all the relevant resolutions and decisions adopted by the World Health Assembly on the prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases.

750. The Ministers also acknowledged the contribution of international cooperation and assistance in the prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases and, in this regard encouraged the continued inclusion of non-communicable diseases in development cooperation agenda's and initiatives.

53. For its consideration of item 10 (f), the Council had before it a note by the Secretary-General transmitting the report of the Director General of the World Health Organization on the United Nations Inter-Agency Task Force on the Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases (E/2014/55).

We welcome the Political Declaration of the High-level Meeting of the General Assembly on the Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases (resolution 66/2, annex), and we strongly believe that all of us should strengthen our national policies and create more efficiency in our health systems.
وإننا نرحّب بالإعلان السياسي للاجتماع الرفيع المستوى للجمعية العامة بشأن الوقاية من الأمراض غير المُعدية ومكافحتها (القرار 66/2، المُرفق)، ونعتقد اعتقاداً راسخاً بأنه ينبغي لنا جميعاً أن ندعم سياساتنا الوطنية ونوجِد المزيد من الكفاءة في أنظمتنا الصحية.

Emphasize that prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases requires leadership at all levels, and a wide range of multi-level, multisectoral measures aimed at the full spectrum of non-communicable disease determinants (from individual-level to structural) to create the necessary conditions for leading healthy lives.

Ms. Picco (Monaco) (spoke in French): First of all, allow me to thank the Secretary-General for the quality of his report (A/66/83), and the World Health Organization (WHO) for playing a leading role in the international community's struggle to prevent and control non-communicable diseases, with the World Health Assembly approving the Global Strategy for the Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases in 2000.
