2. It is to be added that the budget of the Authority for 1997 was funded through the budget of the United Nations, in accordance with General Assembly resolution 48/263 of 28 July 1994 and the provisions of paragraph 14, section 1, of the Annex to the Implementation Agreement.

4. As the Implementing Agreement entered into force on 28 July 1996 and, under the provisions of General Assembly resolution 48/263, the budget of the Authority for 1997 is to be funded from the budget of the United Nations.

Appeals to the members of the Authority, including those States which are no longer members of the Authority following the termination of provisional membership on 16 November 1998, to pay the arrears in their contributions to the budget of the Authority for 1998 as soon as possible, and requests the Secretary-General to inform the members of the Authority of this appeal;

Since the scale of assessment for contributions to the budget of the Authority for 2015 and 2016 would be based on the scale of assessment for the regular budget of the United Nations for 2013, it is recommended that the maximum assessment rate for the budget of the Authority remain at 22 per cent, with the minimum rate remaining at 0.01 per cent.
24 - وبما أن جدول الأنصبة المقررة للاشتراكات في ميزانية السلطة لعام 2015 وعام 2016 سيستند إلى جدول الأنصبة المقررة للميزانية العادية للأمم المتحدة لعام 2013، يُوصى بأن يبقى الحد الأقصى للنصيب المقرر لميزانية السلطة عند نسبة 22 في المائة، وأن يظل الحد الأدنى عند نسبة 0.01 في المائة.

During its resumed third session, the Assembly adopted the budget of the Authority for 1998 in the sum of US$ 4,703,900, and also decided to establish a Working Capital Fund of $392,000, with $196,000 to be paid in 1998 and $196,000 to be paid in 1999 (ISBA/3/A/9).

The Assembly adopted the budget of the Authority for 2000 in the sum of US$ 5,275,200.
