(3) The Permanent Mission of Cuba is reminded that, in accord with the provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act, neither Mr. Hermida Griego nor Mr. Suárez Hernández will be permitted to return to the United States, as a general matter, unless he submits fully to the jurisdiction of the court with jurisdiction over the offence alleged.
)٣( وتُذكﱢر البعثة الدائمة لكوبا أنه وفقا ﻷحكام قانون الهجرة والجنسية، لن يُسمح ﻷي من السيد هيرميدا غريخو أو السيد سوارز هيرنانديس، كقاعدة عامة، بالعودة الى الولايات المتحدة ما لم يخضع بالكامل للولاية القضائية للمحكمة ذات الولاية على الجرائم التي يُدعى ارتكابها.

41. Mr. Hermida Castillo (Nicaragua) said that Nicaragua would stand in solidarity with Puerto Rico, one of the last colonial enclaves in Latin America, until the island was able to take its place as a member of CELAC and of the United Nations.

Mr. Hermida Castillo (Nicaragua) noted that in the Third International Decade for the Eradication of Colonialism there were still some Non-Self-Governing Territories, more than half of them in the Latin American and Caribbean region.

Mr. Hermida Castillo (Nicaragua) said that his Government's comprehensive policy on childhood and adolescence was being implemented through the Amor Programme, which brought together various sectors of Government and community organizations and was financed by the International Development Bank (IDB) and United Nations specialized agencies.

Mr. Hermida Castillo (Nicaragua) said that his delegation was proud of its indigenous roots and that the Government of reconciliation and national unity intended to remedy the historical exclusion of indigenous peoples and communities of African descent from public policymaking and implementation by the Nicaraguan State.
