21- اقترح عدد من الأطراف أن تؤدي لجنة التكيف دوراً في تجميع وتحليل ونشر المعلومات المقدمة من الأطراف وهيئات الاتفاقية وبرامجها بخصوص رصد وتقييم إجراءات التكيف والدعم والمعلومات المقدمة من الأطراف وفقاً للفقرة 33 من المقرر 1/م أ-16، وذلك بطرق منها ما يلي:

Provide guidance to the secretariat with regard to its work on adaptation technologies, particularly coastal zone technologies (see FCCC/TP/1999/1 and the submissions from Parties contained in FCCC/SBSTA/1999/MISC.11); and
