19- نرحِّب باعتماد مبادئ الأمم المتحدة التوجيهية بشأن التنمية البديلة، ونشجِّع المهتمين من الدول الأعضاء والمنظمات الدولية والمؤسَّسات المالية الدولية والجهات المانحة وسائر أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين على الاسترشاد بتلك المبادئ التوجيهية عند تصميم وتنفيذ برامج التنمية البديلة، بل وبرامج التنمية البديلة الوقائية عند الاقتضاء؛

39. Multipronged strategies, at both the national and international levels, to address the world drug problem must include illicit crop eradication and alternative development programmes in producer countries as well as measures to prevent, monitor, control and punish money-laundering, the financing of terrorist acts and transnational organized crime.
