30. The General Assembly convened a commemorative high-level plenary meeting to evaluate progress made in the implementation of the Declaration and the Plan of Action contained in the document entitled " A world fit for children " in December 2007.
30 - عقدت الجمعية العامة، في كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2007، اجتماعا عاما تذكاريا رفيع المستوى لتقييم التقدم المحرز نحو تنفيذ الإعلان وخطة العمل الواردين في الوثيقة المعنونة " عالم صالح للأطفال " ().

2. At the historic session of the Assembly devoted exclusively to children, delegations from 190 countries adopted the Declaration and Plan of Action set out in the document entitled " A world fit for children " (resolution S-27/2, annex).
2 - وفي الدورة التاريخية للجمعية العامة التي خـُصـّصت حصرا للطفل، اعتمدت وفود من 190 بلدا الإعلان وخطة العمل الواردين في الوثيقة المعنونة " عالم صالح للأطفال " (القرار دإ-27/2، المرفق).

Because of this, I would like to add Peru's support to the draft declaration (A/62/L.31) that we hope to adopt by consensus, in which we shall all reaffirm our commitment to the implementation of the Declaration and Plan of Action set out in " A world fit for children " .

2. The commemorative high-level plenary session of the General Assembly held from 11 to 13 December 2007 reaffirmed the commitment of Governments to the full implementation of the Declaration and the Plan of Action contained in the world fit for children document.

At the commemorative high-level plenary meeting of the General Assembly held from 11 to 13 December 2007, Member States reaffirmed their commitment to the full implementation of the Declaration and the Plan of Action contained in the outcome document of the twenty-seventh special session of the Assembly, entitled " A world fit for children " , adopted by the General Assembly in its resolution S-27/2 (see annex).

Five years later, at a commemorative high-level plenary meeting of the Assembly held from 11 to 13 December 2007, Member States reaffirmed their commitment to the full implementation of the Declaration and the Plan of Action contained in the " World fit for children " document.
وبعد مرور خمس سنوات، كررت الدول الأعضاء خلال الاجتماع العام التذكاري الرفيع المستوى المعقود في الفترة من 11 إلى 13 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2007، التزامها بالتنفيذ الكامل للإعلان وخطة العمل الواردين في الوثيقة المعنونة " عالم صالح للأطفال " .

The present report is issued in response to General Assembly resolutions S-27/2 of the twenty-seventh special session, held in 2002, 58/282 and 61/272, in which the Assembly requested the Secretary-General to report regularly on progress made in the implementation of the Declaration and the Plan of Action contained in the annex to resolution S-27/2, entitled " A world fit for children " .
هذا التقرير مقدم استجابة لقرار الجمعية العامة دإ-27/2 المتخذ في دورتها الاستثنائية السابعة والعشرين المعقودة في عام 2002 ولقراري الجمعية العامة 58/282 و 61/272 اللذين طلبت فيهما الجمعية إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم بانتظام تقارير عن التقدم المحرز في تنفيذ الإعلان وخطة العمل الواردين في المرفق الملحق بالقرار دإ-27/2 المعنون " عالم صالح للأطفال " .

12. Requests the President of the General Assembly to hold open consultations with Member States, the Observer State and observers in order to prepare, as an outcome document to be adopted at the commemorative high-level plenary meeting, a brief declaration reaffirming the commitments to the full implementation of the Declaration and the Plan of Action contained in the document entitled " A world fit for children " ;

The President: As members are aware, the Commemorative High-level Meeting will evaluate the progress made in the implementation of the Declaration and the Plan of Action contained in the final document of the special session of the General Assembly on children, entitled " A World Fit for Children " (resolution S-27/2, annex).

1. At the historic special session of the General Assembly on children, which was held from 8 to 10 May 2002, delegations from 190 countries adopted the Declaration and Plan of Action set out in the document entitled " A world fit for children " (resolution S-27/2, annex).
1 - في دورة الجمعية العامة الاستثنائية التاريخية المعنية بالطفل في الفترة من 8 إلى 10 أيار/مايو 2002، اعتمدت وفود من 190 بلدا ، الإعلان وخطة العمل الواردين في الوثيقة المعنونة " عالم صالح للأطفال " (القرار دإ-27/2، المرفق).

58. Mr. Kariyawasam (Sri Lanka) said that Governments had a continuing obligation to build a child-friendly world, in accordance with the Declaration and Plan of Action set out in the document entitled " A world fit for children " . The 2005 World Summit outcome had identified the use of children in armed conflicts as a growing threat which required urgent global attention.
58 - السيد كاريا واسام (سري لانكا): قال إن الحكومات عليها التزام مستمر ببناء عالم صديق للطفل، وفقا للإعلان وخطة العمل الواردين في الوثيقة المعنونة " عالم مناسب للأطفال " ونتائج مؤتمر القمة العالمي لعام 2005 قد وصفت استخدام الأطفال في الصراعات المسلحة باعتباره تهديدا متزايدا يتطلب اهتماما عالميا عاجلا.
