27.1 The rights and responsibilities of the contracting parties shall be governed by the terms of this contract, the Regulations, Part XI of the Convention, the Agreement and other rules of international law not incompatible with the Convention.
٢٧-١ تخضع حقوق الطرفين المتعاقدين ومسؤولياتهما ﻷحكام هذا العقد، وﻷنظمة السلطة، والجزء الحادي عشر من الاتفاقية، والاتفاق، وسائر قواعد القانون الدولي التي لا تتعارض مع الاتفاقية.

وتتسبب المستوطنات الإسرائيلية ومصادرة الأراضي وبناء الجدار في الضفة الغربية، بما يُخالف اتفاقية جنيف وسائر قواعد القانون الدولي، في عزل القدس الشرقية المحتلة، وشق الضفة الغربية إلى شطرين، وفي انحسار الحياة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية العادية.

Israeli settlement and outpost expansion, land confiscation and the construction of a barrier in the occupied Palestinian territory, contrary to the road map and the Geneva Convention and other norms of international law, isolate occupied East Jerusalem, severely intrude into the West Bank and curtail economic and social life.
ويتسبب قيام إسرائيل بتوسيع المستوطنات والمواقع الاستيطانية ومصادرة الأراضي وبناء الجدار العازل في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، بما يُخالف خريطة الطريق واتفاقية جنيف وسائر قواعد القانون الدولي، في عزل القدس الشرقية المحتلة وفي توسعها إلى حد كبير في عمق الضفة الغربية وفي إيقاف عجلة الحياة على الصعيدين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي.

Moreover, ESCWA concludes that " The Israeli closure system remains a primary cause of poverty and humanitarian crisis in the occupied Palestinian territory " (ibid.) and is contrary to the Geneva Conventions and other norms of international law.
