The number of accidents involving landmines and unexploded ordnance is much smaller than it was in the past, prior to the awareness campaigns.
222- أما بالنسبة لحملات التوعية من مخاطر الألغام ومخلفات الحروب فإن الهيئة بدأت منذ عام 2007 بتنفيذ حملة واسعة حيث استطاعت ولغاية الآن من تغطية كافة محافظات الشمال ووادي الأردن وتستمر الحملة لتغطية كافة المناطق التي كانت متأثرة بالألغام ومخلفات الحروب حيث أصبح من الملاحظ ندرة حوادث الألغام ومخلفات الحروب مقارنة مع الماضي قبل القيام بحملات التوعية.
