Notes with interest that the establishment of the new Division for Africa, Least Developed Countries and Special Programmes has led to rethinking in terms of strategic approach, consolidation and synchronization of the division's technical cooperation activities, and asks the secretariat to keep member States informed in this regard on a regular basis;
16 - يلاحظ باهتمام أن إنشاء الشعبة الجديدة لأفريقيا وأقل البلدان نموا والبرامج الخاصة قد أفضى إلى إعادة التفكير في النهج الاستراتيجي وفي توحيد وتنسيق أنشطة التعاون التقني التي تضطلع بها هذه الشعبة، ويطلب من الأمانة إطلاع الدول الأعضاء، بصورة منتظمة، على ما يستجد من تطورات في هذا الصدد؛

To confirm the establishment of the Open-ended Working Group in accordance with resolution II/6 and request the Secretariat to organize its second meeting in 2014 to prepare for the fourth session of the Conference;

the Secretariat is requested to collect any information on illegal trade received from the Parties and to disseminate it to all Parties.

Invites parties and others to provide by 10 April 2015 comments on the further draft technical guidelines made available on the website of the Basel Convention and requests the secretariat to compile the comments received for information and to publish them on the Basel Convention website;

Invites the least developed country Parties to submit to the secretariat an estimate of their financial needs for the preparation of national adaptation programmes of action by 31 August 2001, and requests the secretariat to compile this information for consideration by the Subsidiary Body for Implementation at its fifteenth session;

Takes note with appreciation of the documentation prepared by the UNCTAD secretariat for its seventh session, and requests the secretariat to revise/update documents in the light of the comments made by member States at the seventh session or to be sent in writing by 31 January 2007 for submission to the eighth session of the Group of Experts;
8- يحيط علماً مع التقدير بالوثائق التي أعدتها أمانة الأونكتاد لدورته السابعة، ويطلب من الأمانة تنقيح/تحديث الوثائق على ضوء التعليقات التي أبدتها الدول الأعضاء في الدورة السابعة أو التي سترسلها كتابة في موعد أقصاه 31 كانون الثاني/يناير 2007 لتقديمها إلى الدورة الثامنة لفريق الخبراء؛

9. Also invites parties and others to provide to the Secretariat information on activities undertaken to ensure the environmentally sound management of hazardous wastes and other wastes, including any examples of national waste prevention programmes, and requests the secretariat to make this information available on the Basel Convention website;
9 - يدعو أيضاً الأطراف وغيرهم إلى تزويد الأمانة بالمعلومات عن الأنشطة المتخذة لضمان الإدارة السليمة بيئياً للنفايات الخطرة وغيرها من النفايات بما في ذلك أي أمثلة على البرامج الوطنية لتجنب النفايات، ويطلب من الأمانة إتاحة هذه المعلومات على الموقع الشبكي لاتفاقية بازل؛

16. (a) Notes with interest the information provided on the participation of UNCTAD in the ongoing discussions on the United Nations system-wide coherence process and asks the secretariat to continue efforts and initiatives to strengthen UNCTAD's presence and role in this context;
(أ) يلاحظ باهتمام المعلومات المقدمة بشأن مشاركة الأونكتاد في المناقشات الجارية بشأن عملية الإصلاح من أجل تحقيق الاتساق على نطاق منظومة الأمم المتحدة، ويطلب من الأمانة أن تواصل الجهود والمبادرات المتخذة لتعزيز حضور الأونكتاد ودوره في هذا السياق؛

To endorse the guidance document on the global monitoring plan, invite Parties to use it as appropriate in implementing the global monitoring plan and request the Secretariat to identify modalities for updating the guidance document, taking into consideration any comments received from Parties.
(ﻫ) يوافق على وثيقة التوجيه المتعلقة بخطة الرصد العالمية، ويدعو الأطراف إلى استعمالها حسب الاقتضاء في تنفيذ خطة الرصد العالمية ويطلب من الأمانة تحديد وسائل تحديث وثيقة التوجيه مع مراعاة أي تعليقات ترد من الأطراف؛
