The forensic expert(s) shall be considered an " expert on mission " within the meaning of article VI, sections 22 and 23, of the Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations of 13 February 1946, and shall be entitled to the privileges, immunities and facilities provided for thereunder, wherever he or she performs missions.

Experts, witnesses and other persons required to be present at the seat of the Court shall be accorded such treatment as is necessary for the proper functioning of the Court and shall be accorded, during the period of their missions, including the time spent on journeys in connection with their missions, the privileges, immunities and facilities provided for in article 16, subparagraphs (a) to (f), of the present Agreement.
