Urge the sixtieth session of the United Nations General Assembly to adopt the Principles and guidelines on the right to Remedy and Reparation for Victims of Gross Violations of Human Rights.

It should be noted that a new title was proposed to reflect the contents of the revised document: Basic principles and guidelines on the right to reparation for victims of gross violations of human rights and humanitarian law.
وتجدر الاشارة الى اقتراح عنوان جديد يقصد به التعبير عن مضمون الوثيقة المنقحة: المبادئ اﻷساسية والخطوط التوجيهية بشأن حق ضحايا الانتهاكات الجسيمة لحقوق الانسان والقانون الانساني في الجبر.

Decides to adopt the Basic Principles and guidelines on the right to a Remedy and Reparation for Victims of [Gross] Violations of International Human Rights and [Serious] Violations of Humanitarian Law as follows:
تقرر اعتماد المبادئ الأساسية والخطوط التوجيهية بشأن حق ضحايا انتهاكات قانون حقوق الإنسان الدولي [الجسيمة] وانتهاكات القانون الإنساني الدولي [الخطيرة] في الانتصاف والتعويض، وهي كما يلي:

In its resolution 1997/29, the Commission on Human Rights invited the Secretary-General to request all States to submit their views and comments on the note and revised text of the basic principles and guidelines on the right to reparation for victims of [gross] violations of human rights and international humanitarian law contained in document E/CN.4/1997/104.
٢- ودعت لجنة حقوق الانسان، في قرارها ١٩٩٧/٢٩، اﻷمين العام ﻷن يطلب من جميع الدول آراءها وتعليقاتها حول المذكرة والمشروع المنقح للمبادئ اﻷساسية والخطوط التوجيهية بشأن حق ضحايا انتهاكات حقوق الانسان والقانون اﻹنساني الدولي ]الجسيمة[ في الجبر، الواردين في الوثيقة E/CN.4/1997/104.

The Government of Chile thanks the former Special Rapporteur of the Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, Mr. Theo van Boven, for his dedicated efforts in preparing the set of basic principles and guidelines on the right to reparation for victims of [gross] violations of human rights.

The Republic of Croatia takes this opportunity to express its support for the elaboration of the draft basic principles and guidelines on the right to reparation for victims of [gross] violations of human rights and international humanitarian law and the work undertaken by the former Special Rapporteur of the Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities in respect of the preparation of the draft.

The Government of Sweden warmly welcomes the draft revised basic principles and guidelines on the right to reparation for victims of [gross] violations of human rights and international humanitarian law and wishes to express its deep appreciation of the dedicated work performed by the former Special Rapporteur, Mr. Theo van Boven.
١- ترحب حكومة السويد ترحيبا حاراً بالمشروع المنقح للمبادئ اﻷساسية والخطوط التوجيهية بشأن حق ضحايا انتهاكات حقوق اﻹنسان والقانون اﻹنساني الدولي ]الجسيمة[ في الجبر، وتود أن تعرب عن تقديرها البالغ للجهد المخلص الذي بذله المقرر الخاص السابق، السيد ثيو فان بوفن.

In 1996 he submitted to the Sub—Commission a set of basic principles and guidelines on the right to reparation for victims of gross violations of human rights and humanitarian law.

Encourages the ChairpersonRapporteur of the first consultative meeting to conduct informal consultations with all interested parties, to further contribute to the process of the " Basic principles and guidelines on the right to a remedy and reparation for victims of violations of international human rights and humanitarian law " ;

States parties are encouraged to describe efforts made to promote and implement the Basic Principles and guidelines on the right to a Remedy and Reparation for Victims of Gross Violations of International Human Rights Law and Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law adopted by the General Assembly in 2006 in its resolution 60/147.

One such example was its adoption of Basic Principles and guidelines on the right to a Remedy and Reparation for Victims of Gross Violations of International Human Rights Law and Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law, which would be put before the General Assembly for consideration later in the year.
