Ensure that the violation of the provisions of the Optional Protocol regarding the recruitment and involvement of children in hostilities is explicitly criminalized in the State party's legislation;
(أ) ضمان تجريم انتهاك أحكام البروتوكول الاختياري المتعلقة بتجنيد الأطفال وإشراكهم في الأعمال القتالية تجريماً صريحاً في تشريعات الدولة الطرف؛

The Committee recommends that the State party review and revise its current legislation in order to establish extraterritorial jurisdiction for crimes regarding the recruitment and involvement of children in hostilities when they are committed by or against a person who is a citizen of or has other links with the State party.
16- توصي اللجنة بأن تقوم الدولة الطرف بمراجعة وتنقيح تشريعاتها الحالية بغية إقامة ولاية قضائية خارج الإقليم على الجرائم المتعلقة بتجنيد الأطفال وإشراكهم في الأعمال القتالية إذا ارتكب هذه الجرائم شخص أو ارتُكِبت ضد شخص من مواطني الدولة الطرف أو تربطه بها روابط أخرى.

14. The Committee recommends that the State party revise relevant legislation, taking into account relevant international instruments to which it is party, including the Rome Statue of the International Criminal Court, and include provisions which explicitly criminalize violations of the provisions of the Optional Protocol regarding the recruitment and involvement of children in hostilities.

Mr. Doek (Chairperson of the Committee on the Rights of the Child) drew attention to the Committee's recommendations, which showed that the Optional Protocol on the involvement of children in armed conflict sought to secure an international commitment by States parties to preventing the recruitment and involvement of children in hostilities.

CRC recommended that Egypt explicitly prohibit the violation of the OP-CRC-AC provisions regarding the recruitment and involvement of children in hostilities.
31- وأوصت لجنة حقوق الطفل أيضاً بأن تحظر مصر صراحة انتهاك أحكام البروتوكول الاختياري لاتفاقية حقوق الطفل بشأن اشتراك الأطفال في المنازعات المسلحة، فيما يتعلق بتجنيد الأطفال وإشراكهم في أعمال القتال(79).

It recommended, inter alia, explicit prohibition by law of the recruitment of children under the age of 15 years into armed forces/groups and their direct participation in hostilities, and of violations of OP-AC regarding recruitment and involvement of children in hostilities.
