For instance, if the applicable law is the law of a multi-unit State with three territorial units (A, B and C), a reference to the law of the location of the grantor as the law applicable to a security right in receivables means a reference to the law of unit A if the place of central administration of the grantor is in unit A (see A/CN.9/631, recommendation 219, subpara. (a)).
