9. Recommends that a third general meeting between representatives of the United Nations system and the Organization of American States be held in 1995 to continue to review and appraise progress, and that sectoral and focal point meetings be held on areas of priority or mutually agreed issues;
٩ - توصي بأن يعقد في عام ٥٩٩١ اجتماع عام ثالث بين ممثلي منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة ومنظمة الدول اﻷمريكية لمواصلة استعراض وتقييم التقدم، وبعقد اجتماعات قطاعية واجتماعات لمراكز التنسيق بشأن المجالات ذات اﻷولوية أو المسائل التي يتم الاتفاق عليها بين الطرفين؛

14. It may be recalled that the joint meeting between representatives of the United Nations system and the League of Arab States, held at Geneva in July 1990 (see A/45/481/Add.1), decided to establish the following six sectoral areas of cooperation between the two organizations:
١٤ - تجدر الاشارة الى أن الاجتماع المشترك بين ممثلي منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة وجامعة الدول العربية، المعقود في جنيف في تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٠ )انظر A/45/481/Add.1(، قرر تحديد المجالات القطاعية الستة التالية للتعاون بين المنظمتين.

8. Recommends that general meetings between representatives of the United Nations system and the Organization of American States be held when deemed necessary to continue to review and appraise progress, and that sectoral and focal point meetings be held on areas of priority or mutually agreed issues, continuing with the modality of operating through the focal points already established;
٨ - توصي بأن تُعقد، حسب الاقتضاء، اجتماعات عامة بين ممثلي منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة ومنظمة الدول اﻷمريكية لمواصلة استعراض وتقييم التقدم، وبمواصلة عقد اجتماعات قطاعية واجتماعات لمراكز التنسيق بشأن المجالات ذات اﻷولوية أو المسائل التي يتم الاتفاق عليها بين الطرفين، وفقا ﻷسلوب العمل الذي تتبعه مراكز التنسيق القائمة بالفعل؛

7. Pursuant to the recommendation contained in General Assembly resolution 47/11, the second general meeting between representatives of the United Nations system and of the Organization of American States was held at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C., on 3 and 4 May 1993, and a sectoral meeting on natural disasters management in the Americas was held in Barbados on 28 and 29 April 1994 (see sects.
