I have the honour to inform you that your letter dated 5 August 2011 (S/2011/510) concerning your intention to request the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) to undertake a reconnaissance mission along the border between Sudan and South Sudan as soon as possible has been brought to the attention of the members of the Security Council.
يشرفني إبلاغكم أن رسالتكم المؤرخة 5 آب/أغسطس 2011 (S/2011/510)، بخصوص اعتزامكم توجيه طلب إلى قوة الأمم المتحدة الأمنية المؤقتة لأبيي للقيام بمهمة استطلاع على طول الحدود بين السودان وجنوب السودان في أقرب وقت ممكن، قد عرضت على أعضاء مجلس الأمن.

The programme was delayed owing to the following multiple unforeseen issues: (a) a lack of governmental funds owing to austerity measures and the security issues along the border between Sudan and South Sudan; and (b) the transitional facilities were not completed in time because of limited engineering capacity within the Mission.
وتأخر البرنامج بسبب المشاكل المتعددة غير المتوقعة التالية: (أ) افتقاد الأموال الحكومية بسبب تدابير التقشف والمسائل الأمنية على طول الحدود بين السودان وجنوب السودان؛ (ب) لم يتم إكمال المرافق الانتقالية في الوقت المناسب بسبب القدرات الهندسية المحدودة داخل البعثة.
