At its forty-sixth session, the Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, in its resolution 1994/45 of 26 August 1994, adopted the draft United Nations declaration on the rights of indigenous peoples agreed upon by members of the Working Group without a vote and decided to submit it to the Commission on Human Rights at its fifty-first session.

Furthermore, the Subcommission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, in its resolution 1995/10 of 18 August 1995 on the situation of human rights in Kosovo, reiterated the request of the Commission for the establishment of a monitoring presence in the area (E/CN.4/1996/2-E/CN.4/Sub.2/1995/51, chap. II, sect. A).

The Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities (in its resolution 1989/21) and the Secretary-General in his report (para. 47) stated that in formulating debt policies, particular account should be taken of social objectives and growth and development priorities.

21. The Subcommission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, in resolution 1996/12, See E/CN.4/1997/2-E/CN.4/Sub.2/1996/41, chap. II, sect. A. requested the Secretary-General to invite all States to report periodically to it on measures adopted to implement the Programme of Action for the Prevention of the Traffic in Persons and the Exploitation of the Prostitution of Others.

At its forty-sixth session, the Subcommission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, in its resolution 1994/43 of 26 August 1994, requested the Secretary-General to report to the Subcommission at its forty-seventh session on the steps taken since the World Conference on Human Rights relating to the integration of the human rights of women and the girl child into the United Nations system.
١- طلبت اللجنة الفرعية لمنع التمييز وحماية اﻷقليات في دورتها السادسة واﻷربعين إلى اﻷمين العام، بموجب قرارها ٤٩٩١/٣٤ المؤرخ ٦٢ آب/أغسطس ٤٩٩١، أن يقدم إلى اللجنة الفرعية في دورتها السابعة واﻷربعين تقريراً عن الخطوات التي اتخذت منذ المؤتمر العالمي لحقوق اﻹنسان بخصوص إدماج حقوق اﻹنسان للمرأة والطفلة في منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة.

1. The Republic of Croatia takes this opportunity to express its support for the elaboration of the draft basic principles and guidelines on the right to reparation for victims of [gross] violations of human rights and international humanitarian law and the work undertaken by the former Special Rapporteur of the Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities in respect of the preparation of the draft.
