PRIORITIES for Action adopted by THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

The Commission also welcomes the establishment of the Intergovernmental Forum on Chemical Safety, as well as the Priorities for Action adopted by the Conference, which are contained in the annex below.
وترحب اللجنة أيضا بإنشاء المحفل الحكومي الدولي المعني بالسلامة الكيميائية، كما رحبت بأولويات العمل التي اعتمدها المؤتمر والواردة في المرفق.

As regards the Plan for Action adopted by the Conference, it identified a number of priority areas and actors that could help to attain the objectives of the Declaration.

9. The Beijing Declaration and the Platform for Action, adopted by the Fourth World Conference on Women in 1995, and its follow-up have added a major emphasis to the importance of education for women’s role in peace-building and for the recognition of gender-related issues which must be overcome in order to achieve a culture of peace.
٩ - وأدى إعلان بيجين ومنهاج العمل اللذان اعتمدهما المؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمرأة في عام ١٩٩٥ ومتابعة أعماله إلى التركيز الشديد على أهمية التربية بالنسبة لدور المرأة في بناء السلام والاعتراف بقضايا المساواة بين الجنسين والتغلب على ما هناك من أوجه قصور بهذا الصدد تحقيقا لثقافة السلام.
