Recognizing the need for flexible, practical and innovative approaches towards reviewing the options of self-determination for the peoples of the Non-Self-Governing Territories with a view to achieving complete decolonization by the year 2000,
وإذ تدرك الحاجة إلى اتباع نُهج مرنة وعملية وابتكارية إزاء استعراض خيارات تقرير المصير لشعوب الأقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي بغية إنهاء الاستعمار تماما قبل عام 2000،

The Committee once again calls upon the administering Powers concerned to terminate such activities and to eliminate such military bases in compliance with the relevant resolutions of the General Assembly. Alternative sources of livelihood for the peoples of the Non-Self-Governing Territories should be provided.
وتدعو اللجنة الدول المعنية القائمة بالإدارة مرة أخرى إلى إنهاء هذه الأنشطة وإزالة تلك القواعد العسكرية امتثالا لقرارات الجمعية العامة ذات الصلة.كما ينبغي تأمين موارد رزق بديلة لشعوب الأقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي.
