The CGE found that, for many Parties, the only training activities and workshops organized in the area of climate change were those which took place as part of activities relating to the preparation of their initial communications, in the areas of GHG inventories, vulnerability and adaptation assessments and GHG abatement options.
111- لاحظ فريق الخبراء الاستشاري أن أنشطة التدريب وحلقات العمل الوحيدة التي نظمتها أطراف كثيرة في مجال تغير المناخ كانت تلك التي نفذت كجزء من الأنشطة ذات الصلة بإعداد بلاغاتها الأولية في مجالات وضع قوائم جرد غازات الدفيئة، وعمليات تقييم مدى التأثر والتكيف وخيارات خفض انبعاثات غازات الدفيئة.

Thus, the development of information networks and efficient databases would enable countries to share experiences and expertise/skills, and to exchange information and data, thereby improving the national GHG inventories and vulnerability and adaptation assessments and GHG abatement analysis.
ومن هنا فإن تطوير شبكات المعلومات وقواعد البيانات الكفؤة سيمكن البلدان من تقاسم التجارب والخبرة/المهارات، وتبادل المعلومات والبيانات، مما يحسن القوائم الوطنية لغازات الدفيئة وتقييمات مدى الأثر والتكيف وتحليل خفض انبعاثات غازات الدفيئة.

Regional information networks and efficient national databases should be established, or developed, and supported to enable countries to use the information and share experiences, expertise/skills, data/information and training in the area of national GHG inventories, vulnerability and adaptation assessments and GHG abatement analysis.
178- ينبغي إقامة شبكات معلومات اقليمية وقواعد بيانات وطنية كفؤة أو تطويرها أو دعمها لتمكين البلدان من استخدام المعلومات وتقاسم التجارب والخبرة/المهارات والبيانات/المعلومات والتدريب في مجال قوائم الجرد الوطنية لغازات الدفيئة وتقييمات مدى الأثر والتكيف وتحليلات خفض انبعاثات غازات الدفيئة.

The CGE members emphasized that recommendations relating to the improvement of support for and reporting of GHG abatement analysis would address methodological, data and reporting issues and problems encountered by Parties in the preparation of their national communications.

Information and networking in the context of the initial national communications generally refers to several interrelated activities that assist a Party in the preparation of its initial national communication. The use of information systems forms an important part of GHG inventories, vulnerability and adaptation assessment and GHG abatement analysis.
