The Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) is continuing its support to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) through the ongoing implementation of the joint work programme on the biological diversity of dry and sub-humid lands and continued participation in the Joint Liaison Group of the Rio Conventions.
