Today we celebrate the first anniversary of International Mother Earth Day.
نحتفل اليوم بالذكرى السنوية الأولى لليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض.

Reaffirming its resolution 63/278 of 22 April 2009, on the designation of International Mother Earth Day,
وإذ تؤكد مجددا قرارها 63/278 المؤرخ 22 نيسان/أبريل 2009 بشأن إعلان اليوم الدولي لأمّنا الأرض،

The aim of the meeting would be to encourage dialogue on Harmony with Nature, to mark the first anniversary of International Mother Earth Day, in implementation of the resolutions referred to above.
والهدف من عقد هذه الجلسة هو إجراء حوار بشأن " الانسجام مع الطبيعة " احتفاء بالذكرى الأولى لليوم الدولي لأمّنا الأرض، امتثالا للقرارين المذكورين أعلاه.

I believe the Assembly's adoption of International Mother Earth Day has special significance at this point in our human odyssey.

واحتفالا باليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض،

This first anniversary of International Mother Earth Day finds us still perplexed at the devastating effects of the earthquakes in Haiti, Chile, Indonesia and China and the rains and avalanches in Brazil.
تحل الذكرى السنوية الأولى لليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض ونحن لا نزال نشعر بالجزع من الآثار المدمرة للزلازل في هايتي وشيلي وإندونيسيا والصين والأمطار والانهيارات الأرضية في البرازيل.

The commemoration of International Mother Earth Day is therefore timely and relevant as we seek to mitigate such possible outcomes, particularly through a legally binding agreement.
ومن ثم فإن الاحتفال باليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض جاء في الوقت المناسب وهو وثيق الصلة بسعينا إلى التخفيف من النتائج الممكنة، لا سيما من خلال اتفاق ملزم قانونا.

The President (spoke in Arabic): In accordance with decision 64/556 of 15 April 2010, the General Assembly will now hold a special meeting on the occasion of the first anniversary of International Mother Earth Day.
الرئيس: وفقا لمقرر الجمعية العامة 556/64 المؤرخ 15 نيسان/أبريل 2010، تعقد الجمعية العامة اجتماعا استثنائيا بمناسبة الذكرى السنوية الأولى لليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض.

It is hoped that those resolutions will bring about the needed change, help raise global awareness of International Mother Earth Day, set the impetus to reverse the global environmental degradation and preserve Mother Earth for generations to come.
ومن المأمول فيه أن يؤدي ذانك القراران إلى إحداث التغيير المطلوب، ورفع مستوى الوعي العالمي باليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض، وخلق الزخم اللازم لعكس التدهور البيئي للكرة الأرضية والحفاظ على أمنا الأرض للأجيال المقبلة.

The report draws on contributions to the fourth interactive dialogue on Harmony with Nature, held on 22 April 2014, during the commemoration of International Mother Earth Day.
ويستند التقرير إلى المساهمات التي قُدمت في جلسة التحاور التفاعلي الرابعة بشأن الانسجام مع الطبيعة، المعقودة في 22 نيسان/أبريل 2014 خلال الاحتفال باليوم الدولي لأمّنا الأرض.

Recalls its resolutions requesting that the Secretary-General establish a trust fund for the participation of independent experts in the interactive dialogue to be held at the plenary meetings to be convened during the commemoration of International Mother Earth Day, and in this regard invites Member States and other relevant stakeholders to consider contributing to this trust fund once it is established;
5 - تشير إلى قراراتها التي طلبت فيها إلى الأمين العام أن ينشئ صندوقا استئمانيا لتمويل مشاركة خبراء مستقلين في عملية التحاور المزمع عقدها في إطار الجلستين العامتين المقرر عقدهما أثناء الاحتفال باليوم الدولي لأمّنا الأرض، وتدعو في هذا الصدد الدول الأعضاء وغيرها من الجهات المعنية إلى النظر في المساهمة في هذا الصندوق الاستئماني بمجرد إنشائه؛

But 60 years ago they were recognized, and now we are convinced that, with today's declaration of International Mother Earth Day, planet Earth, Mother Earth, has also won her rights.
ولكن قبل ستين عاما اعتُرف بحقوق الإنسان، ونحن الآن مقتنعون بأن أمِّنا الأرض قد حصلت على حقوقها أيضا بإعلان اليوم الدولي لأمِّنا الأرض .
