III. Seventh Global Forum on Reinventing Government 49. One of the main activities to be implemented during the biennium 2006-2007 is the holding of the seventh Global Forum on Reinventing Government, which the United Nations will host on the subject " Governance for a better life for all: building trust, partnerships and capacity " .

The purpose of the seventh Global Forum on Reinventing Government was to support Member States in their efforts to achieve goals in the United Nations development agenda, including the Millennium Development Goals, by providing a platform for the exchange of good practices that would improve governance and help Governments earn citizen confidence.
