1. The High-level Policy Dialogue on the Creative Economy for Development was held on 26 April 2012 in Doha, as a special event of UNCTAD XIII. The aim was to further support governments to enhance their creative economies, as a feasible development option for advancing socio-economic growth, trade and innovation.
1- عُقد حوار السياسات العامة الرفيع المستوى بشأن الاقتصاد الإبداعي في خدمة التنمية في 26 نيسان/أبريل 2012 في الدوحة، باعتباره حدثاً خاصاً للأونكتاد الثالث عشر. وكان الغرض من الحوار هو مواصلة دعم الحكومات في تعزيز اقتصاداتها الإبداعية، كخيار إنمائي ممكن للنهوض بالنمو الاجتماعي - الاقتصادي والتجارة والابتكار.

15. The President of UNCTAD XIII said that UNCTAD's holistic mandate opened up opportunities for member States to discuss all aspects of the global development process and seek ways to deliver on internationally agreed development promises.
