7. The Committee on the Rights of the Child adopted the above-mentioned guidelines on the independence and impartiality of members of human rights treaty bodies at its sixty-first session, in October 2012, and reference thereof will be introduced to its rules of procedure.

One of the outcomes of this meeting was the endorsement by the chairpersons of the Guidelines on the independence and impartiality of members of the human rights treaty bodies (Addis Ababa guidelines).
وكان أحد نواتج هذا الاجتماع إقرار الرؤساء " المبادئ التوجيهية بشأن استقلال وحياد أعضاء هيئات معاهدات حقوق الإنسان (مبادئ أديس أبابا التوجيهية) " .

3/I. The Committee decided to adopt and include, as an annex to its rules of procedure, the guidelines on the independence and impartiality of members of the human rights treaty bodies (Addis Ababa guidelines), as endorsed by the chairs of the United Nations treaty bodies.

At its 212th meeting (seventeenth session), the Committee adopted a decision welcoming the guidelines on the independence and impartiality of members of the human rights treaty bodies (the Addis Ababa guidelines), endorsed by the 24th meeting of Chairpersons of the human rights treaty bodies, held in Addis Ababa from 25 to 29 June 2012.
32- وفي الجلسة 212 (الدورة السابعة عشرة)، اعتمدت اللجنة قراراً رحبت فيه بالمبادئ التوجيهية بشأن استقلالية ونزاهة أعضاء هيئات معاهدات حقوق الإنسان (مبادئ أديس أبابا التوجيهية)، التي تمت الموافقة عليها في الجلسة الرابعة والعشرين لرؤساء هيئات معاهدات حقوق الإنسان المعقودة في أديس أبابا في الفترة من 25 إلى 29 حزيران/يونيه 2012.

These rules of procedure and Guidelines on the independence and impartiality of members of the Committee may be amended by a decision of the Committee, without prejudice to the relevant provisions of the Convention.
