The Guidance Notes issued by the Central Bank of Seychelles in 1998 on Anti-Money Laundering Procedures would assist the Government of Seychelles in prohibiting their nationals and entities from making any funds available for the benefit of persons who commit or attempt to commit terrorist acts.

According to resolution 1373 (2001), paragraph 1 (c), States are to freeze without delay funds and other financial assets or economic resources of persons or entities that commit, or attempt to commit, terrorist acts or participate in or facilitate the commission of terrorist acts, regardless of the source of the funds.
