The Court held that: " In the Argentine legal system, the right to correct the record or right of reply is provided by article 14 of the American Convention on Human Rights, or Pact of San José, Costa Rica, which, when it was adopted under Act No. 23,054 and ratified by the Government on 5 September 1984, became part of the nation's supreme law, in conformity with the provisions of article 31 of the Constitution " (preambular para. 15).
