(c) Ensure the greatest transparency regarding the transfer of arms and explicitly prohibit in law the sale of arms when there is risk that the final destination is a country where children are, or potentially could be, recruited or used in hostilities.

`6` اتخاذ التدابير الملائمة لمنع التعيينات غير القانونية، أو استخدام الأطفال بواسطة القوات أو المجموعات المسلحة، والعمل حيال الإطلاق غير المشروط من القوات أو المجموعات المسلحة لجميع الأطفال المعيّنين أو المستخدَمين بطريقة غير شرعية بواسطة القوات أو المجموعات المسلحة، وتحقيق حمايتهم وإعادة إندماجهم؛

20. Please indicate to the Committee whether national legislation prohibits the sale of arms when the final destination is a country where children are known to be, or may potentially be, recruited or used in hostilities.
20- يرجى إعلام إلى اللجنة عما إذا كان التشريع الوطني يحظر بيع الأسلحة عندما يكون مقصدها النهائي بلداً يُعَرف أنه يُجنِّد أطفالاً أو يستخدمهم في أعمال قتالية، أو يُحتمل أنه يقوم بذلك.

The Committee urges the State party to enact and apply full prohibition of arms exports, including small arms and light weapons as well as any kind of military assistance to countries where children are known to be, or may potentially be, recruited or used in armed conflict and/or hostilities.

However, the Committee is concerned that, while individual local authorities do have support services in place to assist migrant children entering the United Kingdom, there are no specific measures adopted to assist children recruited or used in hostilities abroad.
